PNC Lawsuit

Why I recommend you DO NOT BANK at PNC Bank!

(It cost me $3,200 to get MY OWN MONEY ($120,000) out of this bank).

dd/mm/2010 - I gave my father $300 to open a savings account in his name, POD to me.  My sister and brother-in-law were notified that this was in fact, my money, above and beyond Dad's future estate settlement.  Everyone was on the "same page".

11 Jan 2011 - I went into the 20th Street branch and told Robbie Crockett that I needed full access to all of Dad's accounts.  He had me sign a new signature card as Power of Attorney.  In addition to the checking account (which I was already a signatore to) there was a Money Market account, and the Savings account that everyone knew was really my money.

16 Jan 2011 - My father passed away.

My older sister, Jackie was already in failing health.  As Trustee of my father's estate ("Jack Covert Living Trust") I was in no big hurry to settle accounts, as I was then going through a bitter divorce at the time.  I soon found out however, that my brother-in-law was dipping into his 401-K in order to pay for my sister's nursing home care.  I told him that if he needed money, to let me know, and we would do something else to get him the needed funds so that he would not have to deplete his retirement.

...to be continued
