SITE PREP BIDS:

EXCAVATE FOUNDATION

Dig basement for footers and 9' poured concrete walls (8" thick), top of which to be 2' above street level (ground level is currently slightly below street level - TBD).

Basement is 38'-0" x 44' "L"-shaped per sketch.

Unexcavated portions include:
Sunroom 10' x 16'
Garage 26' x 22'
Porch and Planter (approx. 3'x21', per sketch)

POUR FOOTINGS/WALLS
9' poured concrete walls (8" thick), top of which to be 2' above street level (ground level is currently slightly below street level - TBD) per plan above, including block wall for planter.

POUR FLATWORK
Backfilling is scheduled for 31 May or 1 Jun, so garage and carport/shed cannot be done until after that date.  Also need to put in some rough plumbing BEFORE pouring front half of basement floor.

I would like, however, to have the BACK HALF of the basement floor poured ASAP.  From the inside edge of the back wall, to 17'-10".  This will then allow me to proceed with construction of the load bearing wall, and enclose the portion of the basement under the Sunroom for tool and material storage.  The front half of the basement and the garage and carport slabs can be done later.

Usual construction methods, including vented radon tubing, 4" pea gravel, 6mil vapor barrier and 4" slab per PLAN ABOVE.   Click on "CARPORT/SHED" Tab to view it's foundation/floor drawing.

Door opening aprons, porch, sidewalks, etc. to be done later.
